What is a Sommelier?
Ben Silver’s Sommelier & Magic Experience at your next event is a true luxury experience unlike any other Wine & Magical Performance. As Ben Silver is the world’s ONLY Magician and Certified Sommelier, he is the only person who can provide a service of this caliber. Wine Tastings are always fun but the element of magic takes it to another level. Magic can be interweaved between wines in a flight or performed after the tasting. The tasting can be as in-depth and informative as the host wants. Choose from either a simple, relaxing tasting where a couple of tasting notes and stories of the wines and wineries are given; to a very educational experience which discusses how wine is made, how to taste, and how soil, climate, and regional variations affect the wines. There is also a happy medium. Contact Ben with questions.
Magic and Sommelier dinners typically feature 3-5 course meals with a wine to pair with each course. The host will dictate how educational they want the wine dinner to be. Magic options can include but are not limited to.
Close-up strolling magic during the cocktail hour featuring sleight of hand illusions.
Table side magic throughout the dinner incorporating mentalism, sleight of hand, card tricks, and wine illusions.
A Stand-up Magic Show/ Stage Magic Show featuring mentalism, sleight of hand, modern day card tricks, and other impossibilities at the end of the dinner when the last course of wine and dessert has been served.
